DESCRIPTION
Lollo Rossa is a strongly curled leaf lettuce with a deep red tinge on the outer leaves. It develops better colour when grown outdoors rather than under cover. Ideal for cropping from mid-May to mid-September. Can be grown as a cut-and-come-again lettuce, making it great for baby greens. Ready to harvest approximately 55 days from sowing. Very hardy and reliable.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Sow from late spring to autumn in drills or under cover from the last frost through to winter. When large enough to handle, plant out with at least 9 inches between plants. Keep moist during dry weather. Avoid pulling the entire plant, continual harvesting of the outer leaves encourages fresh, tender regrowth.
