DESCRIPTION
A superb late-season variety known for its excellent hardiness throughout the winter. Produces thick, medium-length shafts with dark green, upright foliage. Can be left in the ground for an extended period, making it a reliable, low-maintenance crop. Perfect for hearty winter soups, stews, and roasts.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
• Sow Indoors: February – April
• Sow Outdoors: March – May
• Harvest: September – March
• Position: Full Sun
• Watering: Medium – Keep soil moist but not waterlogged
• Sowing Depth: 0.4cm

Sow seeds on the surface of a good quality, free-draining, damp seed compost. Lightly cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm pots. For outdoor planting, transplant seedlings to prepared soil 8 inches apart, gradually earthing up stems to blanch. Keep moist and weed-free throughout the growing season.
