In Pictorial Packet, With Growing Instructions

DESCRIPTION
Fennel herb (Foeniculum vulgare) has a punchy, sweet flavour. Perfect accompaniment with rich foods such as lamb, pork, soups, or oil-rich breads. The flavour of young freshly picked fronds is beautifully fragrant and aniseedy. With its dramatic foliage, it works well in an ornamental border or a herb and vegetable garden. Produces attractive, plate-like yellow flowers which are attractive to insects. (Not to be confused with the vegetable, Florence Fennel.)

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Sow in mid spring to late summer in shallow drills or in trays. Sow sparingly, as this can grow into a large plant. When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them or plant out to 18–24 inches apart. Prefers full or part sun in soil with ample organic matter. Keep the plants well-watered; if allowed to dry out, the plant will quickly go to seed.

NEXT BUSINESS DAY DISPATCH
Please note: Royal Mail is now delivering 2nd class post every other weekday (Monday–Friday), rather than every day as before. As a result, delivery times are now typically longer. We will continue to dispatch your order promptly, but please allow a little extra time for it to arrive due to these Royal Mail changes that are out of our control.

GERMINATION AND GROWING DISCLAIMER
All seeds are sourced from trusted UK suppliers and batch-tested for quality. Many factors such as soil condition, weather, watering, and sowing depth can affect germination and plant growth. By purchasing seeds, you accept that the number of seeds germinated and the eventual crop produced cannot be guaranteed.
