DESCRIPTION
A classic, delicious, tender and sweet variety of mangetout, also known as sugar peas or snow peas
The whole pod is eaten and is delicious raw, stir-fried, or steamed
A high-yielding crop that produces mountains of pods
They freeze well and can be cooked straight from frozen
Especially popular with children, as they produce pods quickly and are tasty eaten straight from the plant
Plants will grow to about a metre tall before trailing, so they are best supported with canes, branches, or netting

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Sow direct from March to June (can be started earlier indoors)
Sow about 5 cm deep in a zigzag formation
Keep moist and protect young seedlings from wildlife and rodents—an empty plastic bottle with both ends cut off works well
Pick regularly to encourage more pod production
