DESCRIPTION
Aubergines are a delicious staple of Mediterranean cooking. Perfect for dishes like parmigiana, fritters, curries, baba ganoush, or simply grilled, roasted, or stuffed. Black Beauty is a classic, reliable variety, producing glossy, deep purple, pear-shaped fruits. They love rich, moisture-retentive soil and warm, sunny conditions, ideal for a sunny greenhouse or windowsill.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
• Sow Indoors: January – March (with or without heated propagator)
• Sow Outdoors: After last frost, when night temps remain above 10°C
• Harvest: July – October
• Position: Full Sun
• Watering: Medium – Keep soil moist but not waterlogged
• Sowing Depth: 0.4cm

Sow seeds on the surface of a good quality, free-draining, damp seed compost. Lightly cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm pots. Feed weekly with a high potash fertiliser once established. Harvest when fruits give slightly to the touch.

NEXT BUSINESS DAY DISPATCH
Please note: Royal Mail is now delivering 2nd class post every other weekday (Monday–Friday), rather than every day as before. As a result, delivery times are now typically longer. We will continue to dispatch your order promptly, but please allow a little extra time for it to arrive due to these Royal Mail changes that are out of our control.

GERMINATION AND GROWING DISCLAIMER
All seeds are sourced from trusted UK suppliers and batch-tested for quality. Many factors such as soil condition, weather, watering, and sowing depth can affect germination and plant growth. By purchasing seeds, you accept that the number of seeds germinated and the eventual crop produced cannot be guaranteed.
